ANTELOPE TABLE

Normally, tables standing on flared legs look weighty, but the slender waist where the legs meet the curve of the bottom rail give this one a delicacy which prompted the name. There’s a lot going on here too: that curve is carried through to the underside of the drawer fronts and then to their asymmetric bog oak handles. The curved underside is panelled and there’s a secret compartment too.  The circular mirror is a peaceful companion, the rounded front of the frame echoing the rounded outer edges of the Antelope’s legs.
