GARDEN ROOM CHAIRS
These chairs were made to go in a garden room, together with the octagonal table described in detail in the ‘Dining Tables’ section. To complement the table they are made in elm, while the octagonal section legs – matching those of the table – relax into more organic forms higher up the piece. The seat is woven from Danish cord, which seemed right for a garden room, softened with a squab cushion which is notched around the legs and arm posts. Small blue-green paua (abalone) shell dots pick up the table inlay.
